Podcasts and YouTube have become an amazing source of information for those getting into new area of learning. While many of these videos and audio conversations are made by semi-armatures in the fields more and more professionals are turning to these mediums as a method to showcase and share what they are doing professional. As amateurs are moving deeper into their content and moving more to a professional level of content and knowledge and professionals are creating content this type of content is becoming a legitimate source of knowledge and information for many. This has led many to begin following podcasts and YouTube channels for professional learning and inspiration.
How to Build a Professional Content Collection?
When we talk about podcasts and YouTube channels, I use the term Professional Content Collection. I use this term because it separates the type of content that is found for personal reasons and helps to focus searches to content and topics that will be used for professional purposes. If you are looking for professional content to check out you can start by searching for educational podcasts or seeking out the educational networks such as Edutopia or The Education Podcast Network. As for YouTube some channels have been listed below to get started, but this will require a bit of searching based on the professional topics that you are interested in. As you find channels that you enjoy the content from you can subscribe to and get notifications as they update their content. Over time you will be able to explore different content and topics and build out a list of channels that have educational topics of interest to you. One of the biggest pieces of advice to give on this is to explore related videos and topics to continue to build your collection in both podcasts and YouTube videos.
